Daddy's job

I took Cooper today to Lipscomb to see Zac's new office. We ate lunch, looked around the campus, and met a lot of other pharmacy people. Cooper got to the office and decided to steal a highlighter. He carried it with him to the restaurant, and of course, Zac and I ate our lunch passing Coop back and forth. It was fun though. Zac had a nice office.. and doesn't he look so good sitting at that desk??? hahaha. I love my boys!! Then Cooper and I came home, and he ate some sweet potatos and had a bath.

Erin's baby shower

Well, I think it is safe to say that Finn will be the best dressed baby in Hendersonville. He got a TON of stuff today at the shower, and his mommy (only 6 weeks away from having him) looked fabulous. I was very jealous. By that time in my pregnancy, I think I already had two faces and three chins. The guys had to put balloons up their shirts, and then try to tie their shoes. They made it look pretty easy. Toward the end of the shower, Cooper started having mommy withdrawals, and then screamed most of the way home. Ahhh. Now he's asleep, and I am doing my daily dose of house chores, including laundry, because Cooper decided to throw up on my dress as we were leaving. Then, he smiled about it.

Cooper's busy week

Zac left us this week to go to Boston for work, so Cooper and I came to mom's for a week. And this is what we have done....Saturday we took Cooper to Sparta to see his new cousin Sadie. She is sooo pretty, but Cooper was more interested in wallowing around on the rug. Then, we went to my papa and granny's. Rex played with Cooper and they both ate bananas. Cooper got a small nap in that night, but not without Dixie and Rebel keeping a close eye on him. Sunday, we went to church. Then I took Cooper to his great grandmother Ruby Jo's house, and then Cooper went to see his grandad and gigi and played with the puppy. Cooper was amazed by the puppy until it jumped up and scratched him. Then, monday we shopped all day because we are planning Erin's baby shower. By the end of the day Cooper was pooped. Pooped as he was though, we went out to eat when Greg got home and played on the table at the restaurant. And here we are..Tuesday, waiting for Pop and Granna to come over and entertain Cooper so that mom and I can make a diaper cake. He has been a trooper though, because through all of this he has had a cold and been constipated. Fun huh? Tomorrow night we will pick Zac up from the airport and head home. Aahhhh

Cooper's baby shower

Today after church, our sunday school gave Cooper a baby shower. We had a lot of great food and cake and got a lot of diapers. Thank you everyone!! He should be set for the next 2-3 months in diapers!!! Zac was at work, so it was just me and Cooper. Of course Cooper would catch a cold, so he didn't sleep well last night and doesn't want to eat much. He is so interested in what is going on around him, that he would not fall asleep at church. He would start to lay his head on my shoulder to sleep, and then would pop that head back up to look at something. So, now he is home and zonked. So we had a good day, and now it's raining so it's even a better day, I love the rain.

1st Nursery Experience

Today we put Cooper in the nursery for the first time. Of course I was sad, and he was crying. But we went on to sunday school and then went to check on him before the service. At this point they were attempting to feed him and that wasn't going very well. I walked in and picked him up. He had tears in his eyes, but when he saw me and Zac, he started giggling through his tears. It was so sweet. So I fed him and by then there were quiet a few babies in the nursery crying and wanting to be held, so I decided to take him to the service with us. I know, I know....I'm weak. I broke down and took him. So we are going to keep putting him in there and check on him after s.s. Maybe we will eventually leave him for both s.s and the service.

Happy 4th!!

Well, our holiday started out with a trip to Nashville Shores (which was a lot better than we thought it would be). I got fried...of course. I always burn. We swam,rode lots of slides, and ate. Meanwhile...Cooper was at home with his Nana and Papa. Yep, I left him all day. I only called once to check in. I missed him though. Every time I saw a baby, I wanted to go home. When we got home, we grilled out and made homemade ice cream. Erin and Michael met up with us all for dinner. So today totally made up for last 4th of July when I had just gotten the news that Cooper would not make it. It was a good day. And now it's raining.
