Santa

Tonight we took Cooper to Lighting of the Greens at Lipscomb. We went to a pharmacy faculty get together first and ate some food. Cooper loved it in the room that we ate in. He walked all over the place and yelled and was so excited. After that we took him to have pictures with Santa. They let me snap a few pictures for my blog. Cooper was much more interested in looking at Santas face than at the camera.

We also wrapped some gifts yesterday and Cooper to decided he wanted to sit on this big present. Ha, too cute.

Thanksgiving

.......and friday and saturday. Thursday we hung out at moms and then ate Thanksgiving dinner. Cooper and Finn played some and then friday we went to the cox's and had dinner. We watched Toy Story 3 and played a game. Coop had a blast watching Zac and Gavin fly an airplane.

Gobble Gobble

This afternoon we packed up and headed to Manchester for Thanksgiving!! I'm breaking up my thanksgiving blogs because I know I'll take a ton of pictures. Before we got to moms house zac and I stopped at J&G and split a cheese steak for my second lunch. We all had dinner together and then the boys played and we took pictures of them together by the tree. My pregger belly already feels twice as big tonight and we didnt even eat a heavy meal. Uggh.

A day at the Zoo....with the TITANS

Last night I got a call from Dad saying that Cortland Finnegan was going to be at the zoo. So I called and got information and this morning we packed up to go see him. We got there at 9:30 and got our tickets and some of the staff wanted to see Cooper so they came up and talked to him and I asked them when the players were coming. She told menot until 12:00. So Coop and I went to see the animals in the park and we stopped at the cafe and had lunch. After that we headed back to the event to get in line. Luckily, we were like 15th in line so we got through quickly. The first thing they said though was no stopping and taking pictures with the players. Well, all I had was the Titans shirt that Cooper was wearing. So my plan was to have the players sign the back of Coops shirt and I could take pictures while they signed. So I get up to the first player and said "Can you sign the back of his shirt"? They were really nice and they all passed Cooper down the line and all signed his shirt. It was so fun. Cooper kept trying to see what they were doing behind him. It was cute. Different players were showing up at different times and I wanted to see Chris Johnson. Well, about the time they were finished autographing Cooper, Chris showed up. I was not about to get at the end of line to come back for his autograph. So I yelled "Chris, hold my baby for a picture real fast" hahah. He stopped in front of me grabbed Coop and said "uh ok" So I snapped a quick pic and left. Chris and Coop looked really uncomfortable. I may be crazy, but I had fun and got what I came for!! Cooper was asleep before we got out of the parking lot.

There were a lot of professional photographers there photographing Cooper and the players and news cameras. Maybe we'll see Coop on t.v.

Campbell

This morning I had some errands to run in Murfreesboro, so of course I took advantage of that and went to Kristin's to see Campbell. She is the sweetest tiniest little thing. So I wanted to show her to Cooper but he wasn't interested and kept playing. I finally grabbed him by the ankle, dragged him over to my lap and set him in my lap and tried to show him the baby. He rubbed her little gown for a minute and looked at her and then.....pushed her away as hard as he could, got out of my lap and went on with his playing. (That probably almost gave Kristin a panic attack). But on the bright side, he wasn't jealous. Maybe he wont care about our baby.

Grapes

After a good morning at feeding therapy, Cooper and I took a trip to Target to get this teether that his therapist recommended. It's a cluster of grapes with a rubber tip that vibrates when he bites down. I was skeptical because Cooper puts NOTHING in his mouth. But I sat in his room and I played with it and bit it and laughed and made a huge deal and then I kind of forced it into his mouth until he bit down. Then he realised he liked it. So now I usually put it in his mouth for him but he will take it out and put it back. Finally... my almost 2 year old has a teether that he likes. It's so good for those molars that are still coming in.


Then we took a ride on the Lion. Cooper thinks this is so fun. He laughs and signs more and just has a blast.

Lighting of the Tree

Or putting up of the tree...whichever. Tonight we put the tree up and Cooper was very interested in what we were doing. He sat and watched every move we made. He pulled all the ornaments out of the big box and threw them on the floor. He got a hand popping for batting at the ornaments on the tree. He broke one of my ornaments (my barbie tree of shoes). Ahhh. Im hoping spanking his hand will get the point across so that he doesn't break anymore ornaments. Some of pictures are blurry. I was playing with different settings on my camera. We baked cookies and watched Harry Potter while we put the tree up. My bow for the top of the tree was untied and in a mess so now we dont have anything for the top. It needs something to make it not look so squaty. This is now my official "set" for our christmas pictures. We are going to light the fire and try to do pictures under the stockings.

He's just tall enough to bat at the stockings and pull them to the floor.

Happy Birthday

I got a call from Kristin this morning saying she had Campbell. I was in shock!! She went to the hospital around 2:30 in the morning and Campbell was born at 7:24am. Wow that was fast. I hope my kiddo comes that fast. So I got ready, dropped Cooper off at Zac's office and went to Murfreesboro to get my hands on this pretty girl. And oh was it nice to hold a baby again. She was so pretty and peaceful. Under her little hat she had a little bow stuck in her hair. So sweet.
Cayden wanted me to take his picture and then he took some pictures with my camera. I didn't put them up though since they were mostly of the floor! haha. He was sweet though, he likes his little sister.
She peeked at me a few times but was really sleepy.
Ahhh, just think, only 5 1/2 months and I'll get to be doing the same thing!!
She's beautiful Kristin, thanks for letting me barge in and hold her for a while.Tell Brennan I hope I didn't run him off!!

Daddy makes dinner

And ohhhh did Cooper love it!! Yes, cool whip does it. We found something that Cooper loves and he even walks to us to get a bite of it. What was real impressive was he even licked the cool whip container to get some more. And I just picked out a tiered impressive Mickey Mouse cake for his birthday...looks like we'll eat cake and he'll eat cool whip.
