Pools open!! Bring on summer!

Well it didn't quite go as planned, but we had a good evening at the pool. Quinn, unlike our other kids does not want in the water. I think he will loosen up, but so far he is pretty timid. Finally he's acting like a 1 year old and not a 10 year old. What he finally decided to do was walk back and forth in the kitty pool. He had to be holding our hand though. He'd say, "hold a hand and walk mama".

And then we watch Winnie the Pooh. 

Coopers last day of 1st grade

Tuesday we went to school for coopers awards day. Hank and Quinn were good for a little bit, but after coopers class was finished we went ahead and left. I ran home and gave them quick naps while I showered and got dressed. After that we headed to church for a vbs prep meeting. I got all the materials i need to get ready. We made it back in time for the bus to pull up and then started dinner. Wednesday was a half day. Cooper got off the bus and we gave  mr Billy big hugs and thanks for all his years of caring for coop. He is retiring and we will miss him. 

Monday was field day. Thankfully Catherine took pics and videos for me. I'm getting a sitter next year and going. 

He participated in everything so well!

They ate these way too quickly and I didn't have a backup plan to keep them quiet. 

Coop and Riley. I hope these two stay together the next few years. 

Hank played with baby dolls during my vbs meeting. He has really noticed that Quinn isn't a little baby anymore and he always points out babies to me and tells me how cute they are! He wanted to know when he would have a baby. I told him not until he is old and married. He said well, when I do have a baby, I want to have a baby boy and I want to name him Henry. I found this hysterical since he hates being called Henry. 

Cooper didn't get an award when most of his classmates did, so his sweet daddy stopped and got him an award on his way home!! It made coops day! ( and mine).

Some school work that came home. 

Baby shower and Chattanooga

I'm a little behind on blogging, but Friday Zac and the kids dropped me off at maggianos for Erin's baby shower. They then headed to Manchester. I rode home with mom after dinner and the next morning we went to Chattanooga. A friend of ours little girl was turning two and we all met up at the park. After the party we tried taking the boys down by the river to play on the steps with the flowing water, but they haven't turned the water on for the season yet. After that we  stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner and then headed home. It was a great weekend. 

When I had Quinn, mom and Cyndi took me out and did a little dinner/shower like this. So we decided to do the same with Erin. 

The boys were throwing a ball off the porch and just laughing so hard when papa had to go get it with a rake. 

Quinn was cracking us up with his bottom in the air.

Gavin came by the park to see us for a bit before heading to lunch. 

Josh brought his drone. We were all amazed at how neat it was. It took some amazing photos!

Hank entertained baby Malone for a long time. He made her laugh and blew bubbles for her. He loves babies and tells me how cute they are.
