Trick or Treat

Last night we went to a birthday party for a girl at our church. The kids all wore their halloween costumes and played outside. Then tonight we took Cooper to the church for the fall festival. I took him down a big blow up slide and he played at some of the booths. His favorite thing though was chasing his pumpkin while I held it. Then we came home to a ton of trick or treaters. I had so much fun passing out candy. Last year we were at the Vandy game and didnt get to pass any out. Getting sleepy...we had to pull out the chewie

First Football Game

Well....my pictures are not in the right order, so we begin with Cooper asleep. Anyways, friday night I took Cooper to the Tullahoma football game. Gina is the cheer coach, so we got to go early and play in her classroom with the mascot head and take some footballs. Cooper also got to go out on the track and throw his football for a while too. Grandad and Gigi got him his own little wildcats shirt with his name. His favorite part of the game was the mascots and the cheerleaders. He would wave at the Cat everytime it walked by. He also caught a case of the giggles right before the national anthem when the stadium was silent. His little laugh just echoed through the stands. Dad and I both couldn't help but crack up. I still don't know what he was laughing about. Finally at half time he gave up and fell asleep, so we headed home. Of course right when we got home he woke up and was ready to play.

Hair Cut

Friday afternoon I took Cooper to Linda's to get his first professional haircut. I have been cutting it now for almost 2 years and it has just gotten really thick and out of control. We sat him up in the chair and let him look at himself in the mirror for a minute and then she started chopping. At first he didn't really care, but then he started fussing. And when she pulled the little razor out, he really threw a fit. It was impressive. Thank you Mrs Linda for dealing with Cooper's screaming. In the end though no hard feelings. He even combed her hair. His hair looks so much better now. We left a nice big pile of blonde hair in her floor!!

Playdate

This morning we went to Cool Springs mall for a little playdate. We played in the kids area and Cooper loooved it. He went through all the tunnels and went down the slide about 6 times and climbed on everything. I was surprised that he was able to play here. Usually these are for older kids. The girls showed Cooper how to climb up the slide. He caught on quickly and i had to keep moving him. After we played we had a little lunch at chick filet and then headed home for naps. Delaney Cooper and Etta He looks scared here, but he wasn't, he laughed every time

Coop and Carter

Yesterday we went to visit Liz and Carter for a little playdate. We do this fairly often because I start having Carter withdrawls!! Cooper learns so much when he plays with Carter too. He watches him and tries to do what he does. And it's good because Carter has great fine motor skills. And on another note....I thought I had my acne finally under control and now it has flared up again. They say if you have a girl she steels your beauty. Surely to goodness it's a girl because I am hideous. If not it will be one pretty boy. My back pain has already started up too. With Cooper I had the worst back pain. I don't know why it has started so early. So far this morning I haven't taken a nausea pill....we'll see how that goes. And my pregnancy dreams still continue. They are so weird and morbid. I hope those don't stay around to long. This week Cooper has started saying da da and la la along with his normals..ba ba and ooohhh.

Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday Brenton and Cyndi wanted to take Cooper to the pumpkin patch. It wasn't exactly what we had hoped for since Cooper was cranky. But he did love riding around in the wagon. He also got to open his halloween gift, which he also loved. He got a sing-a-ma-jig, a book and a mickey mouse dvd. Then we went and ate at Toot's and Cooper was pretty good at the restaurant.

Cooper's Buddy Walk Day

Buddy Walk day finally arrived!! I love the buddy walk. This year we actually got to stay and walk since it wasn't freezing. First thing we did was mom took Finn down the slide. Im pretty sure he cried. Then we all took off our undershirts because it was so hot. We walked around for a while and tried to find some of Cooper's little friends. We got a million pictures (including more to come from my father in laws camera). I forgot to get a group shot but he has one that I will add later. We saw Tiffany and Etta first... Then we found Erin, Liam and Caris

And we were off for our little one mile walk.... We stopped at the pond to feed the geese, I brought a loaf of bread and Cooper would throw the entire piece of bread in the water.

So happy that Liz and the boys showed up at the end. Carter and Cooper got to see each other. Those beautiful boys!!
Here the boys are playing with (apparently the hottest toy this year) the sing along people. Cooper got one in his halloween basket and he loooves it. Finn wasn't sure about all these kiddos. I think he had fun though
And then of course I got hungry and we had to leave to eat lunch. It was a wonderful day though. I love these events!!
