Christmas Day

After the Christmas Eve service we went to mom's and had some dinner. Zac read the Christmas Story to the boys before bed and then we sat out milk and cookies for Santa. Quinn might have taken a bite or two out of the cookie. After we got them to sleep we started working on Santa gifts. We got everything set up, took some pictures and then went to bed. The next morning we got up and I got the video camera going and Zac let them out of the bedroom to come down and see what Santa had brought. Hank ran downstairs and went straight to his pile but looked a little nervous and asked me what all of this was. Quinn and Cooper also went straight to their piles and started playing with their toys and looking at everything Santa had brought. Then they would go to each others piles and look at what the other got. We took them outside to fly Cooper's new drone and then ate some breakfast. Then we sat down to open all of their gifts from papa and nana. Erin and her family didn't get to moms until late Christmas night, so we just stayed home and played all day with the kids. We took naps and Zac and Hank worked on his new legos. It was a nice Christmas. The next morning Finn and Sam opened their presents and then all the boys went upstairs to play while the adults opened their gifts. We always have so much fun opening our presents. Somehow we end up laughing so hard every single year. I don't know why, maybe it is Zac and Michael that crack us up with their gifts, but its fun. They stayed until about 4 that afternoon and then headed back home. We all went outside with all the new swords the boys got and played pirates and ran through the yard. Zac flew the drone some more and the boys chased that. They got it stuck in a tree once, but that was it. We stayed another night and then the next day went back to the Cox's for a while. I drove home earlier than the boys so that I could unload gifts and try to get things put away and laundry started before they all got there.

 He kept asking for sausage balls and coffee cake. That's all he wanted the whole time.
