RIP Lightening McQueen

This morning we got up and took the boys to the Barber Shop for haircuts. Of course as bad as Coop was, they both walked out with perfectly great and even haircuts. Coop was actually a tiny bit better this time I thought. As we were leaving one of the Barber's ran out and gave us a coupon for a free Jets pizza!!  He must have sensed the amount we just paid off on Zac's credit card!! After hair cuts we headed straight to the pool. We had to stay in the big pool because some concrete broke off in the kitty pool last night and they are shutting it down for a week. Today was our pool party for the neighborhood and Uncle Buds came and catered it. We had the best catfish, chicken, hush puppies, French fries, cole slaw, white beans and drinks. Every bit of it tasted amazing!! So we got another free meal today! (well, we pay for it through our HOA, but it felt free today). I jumped right in the pool with the boys and the water felt so amazing, I didn't even care how pregnant I was or how bad I looked. We just a great morning as a family. The boys swam on their noodles most of the time, but we brought their puddle jumpers too because they get tired and because it can get hard if only one of us is in the pool watching them. It also allowed Zac and I to wait in line and eat our lunch while the boys just swam around in the pool. After a little over 2 hours they were both getting tired and we headed back home. We found most of our toys but poor lightning McQueen was nowhere to be found We always end up with only 1 or 2 pool toys left at the end of summer. We just buy new ones each year. All but one of our dive sticks disappeared yesterday too.

Zac let the boys dress themselves this morning before going to get haircuts. Here they are checking out how they did.

I felt crampy all day yesterday but last night when I fell asleep it all went away. I swear when he is born I am going to find a place to get a feet/leg massage. My bones hurt so bad as if I have some disease. Every single time I stand up it is like I have just hiked LeConte the day before or something like that. Just pain and soreness. I can't wait for Monday though because she will schedule me to get induced. Gina is going to come keep the boys for me while I go Monday. I thought it would be a good idea to have someone with boys just by the odd chance they send me over to the hospital after the Dr appointment. I've heard of that happening a few times, but I don't expect it by any means. I'm getting excited though.

Awards Day

Hank and I got to Gower a little early to get us a good seat in the Library. Cooper's class came walking in to take their seats. They were all so well behaved and quiet. It amazes me how good they are at school. Cooper did so good. He sat there perfectly still, clapped every time someone got an award, and when his name was called he hopped right up, walked up front, took his award and then sat back down. Last year he wouldn't even stand up. He wanted no part of it. He even wore his medal and held his paper while all the other prek awards were handed out.

 Cain and Star

What award is that.....Yep, best dance moves!!! Awesome.

Last picture with Ms Helen and Ms Allison. We will miss them terribly.
Hugging on his buddy. He sure will miss Cain if they are not in the same class next year.
Last full day of PreK!! He sure grew up a lot in those past 3 years.
Stars mom gave her a balloon and flowers for awards day, and since Cooper loved the balloon, Star gave it to him. So precious. He gave her a big hug!!
Cooper and his "second mama". We couldn't have a picked a better one.
Here's the proof!! His daddy will be very proud.

The treats I made for his Frozen party tomorrow!! They turned out cute.

This has been a very emotional week for me. I sent Cooper off to preschool at the tiny age of 3 and put my trust in strangers to help teach and raise him. Here is the pic of his first day. He had just turned 3 two weeks earlier. He was truly a baby when we sent him. And although I knew he needed it, I felt so bad and guilty for sending him off to school so early. But some kids just have to do things a little different and work a little harder than others. It was the best thing we ever did though.
I have told his teacher this and I truly believe we are in Bellevue and Ms Riley was at Gower all for God's plan for Cooper. She has been his secondary mom for almost 3 years, and she is such a good one that I want to be like her. We couldn't have picked a better teacher/second mom for Cooper. She's a blessing and we are so thankful for the time he has been in her class.

Random

Still pregnant, no news there. I see my Dr again on Monday and she will most likely schedule to induce me that Thursday or Friday since that will be the end of week 39. I am so disappointed he hasn't come though. I had a friend of mine building her photography portfolio for her business. She was going to come to the hospital and do birth photos. I was so excited. Of course they wouldn't show anything gross, but when you are in labor you don't notice things and this way I would have been able to see everything in professional photos. Anyways, she leaves for vacation on Sunday. So unless he comes before then (doubt it) I am out of luck. Cooper has awards day at school tomorrow and Friday he has a frozen party! I have made ice blue colored jello and will cut it into small squares to look like ice blocks (frozen themed food), and then I am also doing white chocolate covered pretzels. I am singing Sunday, and I swear Satan uses my children every time I need to practice my song. They scream at me and say mama one million times and throw things at me and try everything to get my attention as soon as I start practicing. And what do they need?? Nothing. They simply want to disrupt me. It is the most frustrating thing. Anyways, I have some photos from my phone that are just random pictures that need dumped out.

The boys are loving the new car. My mother talked it up to Hank as a new van, so when he came home on Sunday, all he would talk about was his new van. Zac and I kept saying, "no Hank, its your new car". And he would reply with "my new van". This went on and on until Zac finally said," Hank it is not a van, it's a car". To which Hank replied, "well, it LOOKS like a van". And we died laughing. We finally broke the whole van thing and he now calls it his new car.
The boys swim lessons are going great. They are now swimming without their puddle jumpers, and only using a noodle.
Zac hanging my roman shades that Janet Layne custom made for me. They fit and look perfect!!

Cooper having breakfast in the playroom. He loved eating off of my tray.

This picture was posted by the dealership on their webpage, so I stole it to post on here.
He just needs an arm on the noodle and he swims around the deep end!!
