Cooper, Hank and I are still sick with these nasty colds. Hank doesn't have it as bad as Cooper and I. Quinn had a slight fever this evening too. I gave him a dose of Tylenol and it brought the fever down, but I think he is getting it too. Zac has youth vbs this whole week from 6-9 which couldn't have come at a worse time. But thankfully he is coming home a little early from work and helping me get the boys fed and ready for bed. He even stayed up with Quinn last night while I got a full nights sleep. I kept coughing the night before and that was waking Quinn up and therefore we were both awake almost all night. I took the boys to the pool today but after 45 minutes they started crying, throwing fits and asking to go home. The most annoying thing about this cold is that my right ear is completely stopped up. It feels like I'm going up a mountain, but I can't ever get my ears to pop. Awful.
He fell asleep on the floor. He felt so bad the other day. He never falls asleep on the floor.
Quinn and I sat out on the back porch today while the boys napped. He discovered he could hit that toy with his hand and make it rattle. He was getting so excited and kicking his feet so fast.
Anytime Quinn cries at the pool and I am with the other two or helping them with something, either a life guard or other mom's just holler at me or go give him a pacifier until I get back over there. They all know us since we are there almost daily and they are all so nice to help out.
Hank came down in this attire today. This also means he knows how to put his shoes on.
I came upstairs the other day in between cooking and found the boys sitting in the playroom playing a game. I love this because Hank actually pulled out a game and got Cooper to sit down and play with him. It is so nice when he can organize play for the two of them. Hank will be so bored next week when Cooper goes back to school.

More Prayers Please
I hope she doesn't mind that I post this, but you all know my friend Liz. Her son Carter has Ds and has been Cooper's friend since they were like 8 months old. Her mom has battled cancer for several years and just a few weeks ago decided to stop her treatment. Her health declined very quickly and she passed away yesterday. Please pray for Liz, she is so heartbroken. I have cried over this and just can't get her off my mind. The hard thing is there is nothing we can do to help her pain. We can only pray for her. My grandmother has recently battled cancer, and I can see from my family that no matter what age your mother is, you are never prepared or ready for their death. I don't know what I would do without my mom and now my sweet friend has to experience this heartbreaking loss. We will never know why God heals some and then takes some away, but we know that for whatever reason, it is part of His plan. So I just ask that you pray for Liz for a while, that her heartbreak would ease and Jesus would wrap her and her family in his comfort and strength.

The past week in pictures
This past week was a busy one. I had my 6 week post partum visit, a dentist appointment and plenty of other things to do as well. As every dental appointment post baby, I left needing two cavities filled and a crown on a tooth I broke 2 years ago. They also said my gums were very red and inflamed and that I need to see the surgeon again about getting those replaced soon. Both boys came home sick so Friday we went shoe shopping and then just stayed at home the rest of the day. Today I woke up sick, so between two sick boys, an infant and now me sick.....we haven't slept much around here.
Kelly came over Thursday night for dinner
Quinn hanging out with me at the Dr
The boys insisted on wearing their new shoes out of the store. Hank picked out bright red nikes and black crocs. I got Cooper shoes that tie hoping he would keep them on better. So far he has gotten them off though. But both boys feet had grown, so we needed them anyway.

Paddle Boarding
Monday night we all headed to Manchester to stay with mom and Greg. Zac and I were headed to Chattanooga the next morning to go paddle boarding (that was my valentines day gift). We left the older boys with mom and dropped Quinn off at Cyndi's. We got to Chattanooga, drove past the L2 boards place and were looking for parking. We pulled into this gated community just to turn around and as we pulled back up to the gate to exit, it would not open. We messed with the gate for a while, walked around and asked people in businesses if they knew how to get out, knocked on all the doors there (nobody answered), called the towing company, googled the company to try to find an owner or operator.....NOTHING. We had no idea what to do. We were sure we would be stuck there and miss our reservation. We spent about 20 minutes doing all that and then Zac finally went over, wedged himself in between the wall and the gate and started pushing. Then he would go pull on the other side, then back to the other to push. He got it open just enough for me to drive out. His hands were bruised from pushing on that gate. So, we were late, but we got there and realized the guy was really on no schedule and was still walking boards down to the river for people. So it worked out great. We all walked down to the river and the guide showed us how to get on and then he headed back to the office while we went on our two hour adventure. We paddled up stream, circled the island and then headed back down stream. We did all that in about an hour, it definitely didn't take us 2 hours. But once we got back to the dock, we took a few pictures, played on the boards, and just wasted a little time. We stayed on our boards pretty well, we never fell off or flipped. After that we met Zac's friends on their lunch break to grab a bite to eat. We then walked around town for a minute before deciding to head over to Chris and Faith's pool and just hang out there for about 3 hours. It was so nice having that pool to ourselves and being able to lay in the water on floats and just relax. It was one of the best days we've had. We headed back to Manchester to eat a little dinner with the Cox's, pick Quinn up and head back home. We were exhausted too, it was so hard getting up the next morning. The boys stayed at mom's until Thursday. The Cox's picked them up Thursday, took them to see the planes movie and then brought them back to us.
