17 Weeks and a Happy New Year

The boys and I got back in town Saturday from our week long Christmas break. Zac got the tree taken down Saturday and that evening I helped box up the ornaments. We got our couches moved around so that the new couch can come Thursday. Sunday as I was teaching Sunday school, I teared up, and then I met Kristin at Maggianos, and as soon as I parked and opened the car door, I vomited all over the parking lot. These hormones or whatever is happening inside my body is killing me. I was so embarrassed but I wasn't sick at all after that. We had a great lunch and time shopping together though. Today I had my 17 week Dr appt. I saw the Dr today that delivered Hank ( I always see different Dr's, that is something that I have never been picky about). Since I had both kids with me I asked Zac if he would meet us there and watch them. So he came and they hung out in the waiting room while the Dr saw me. We listened to the heart beat which was nice and strong. He actually went ahead and had me do the glucose test for diabetes. I wasn't expecting that, but downed the nasty glucose drink then headed out to let Zac know I had to stay another hour and then have labs drawn. He said he couldn't stay that long but would stay for about 30 more minutes. So in the mean time we walked over to the pet store and played with the kitties and the birds. The drink was making me a little dizzy so we went back to the office and sat down. Zac ended up staying with me most of the time. Before my labs though he left and I put the boys in the stroller. We went back for my labs and Cooper started yelling and saying all done when he saw them put the tourniquet on my arm. I talked to him the whole time and he calmed down. They checked my thyroid again too since it was low the last time. After about 2 hours at the Dr we finally headed home and took naps. Zac came home around 4 and had rented Despicable Me. The boys got the second DVD for Christmas and loved it so much that he wanted to let them watch the first one too. So for our New Years Eve we are watching a movie in party hats and have chocolate chip cookies and grilled cheeses cooking!!


The boys got these Super Hero towels from Gene and Minnie and they love them!! Hank wants to take another bath as soon as he gets out so he can wear his towel again.

Cox Birthdays and Christmas

Sunday afternoon we came over to the Cox's to celebrate Zac's birthday. Cooper and Hank made sugar cookies with sprinkles and icing. Hank loved putting the sprinkles on the best. After that mom and Greg showed up and we all ate a big Chinese dinner and then walked outside to look at the neighbors lights. Christmas night we got over to the Cox's house around  4:00 and had supper. We played games after the boys went to bed. This morning then we got up and had our Christmas here. We had a big breakfast and then opened presents. Hank got a train table and Cooper got a soccer goal and ball as their big gifts, and then of course they had other things too.
