A little Quinn blog

I keep a list of things Quinn says and does. He is such a funny little person. He has more personality than I ever thought one of my kids would have. He is 3 so of course we are in the awful threenager phase where he throws fits and melts down and basically acts like he's bipolar. He is still super sweet too though. He wakes up so cranky in the mornings. I can't blame him for that though because so do I. He melts down in the kitchen floor every single morning because he can't decide what he wants to eat. Heaven forbid I make a suggestion.

One of Quinn's favorite things is making pictures at church. He is always so proud to show us his paintings. He loves going to church and always tells me, "you be in your class and I'm going to my class".

He got in Zac's suitcase the other night and said, "I'm gonna sweep in my wunchbox"! Everything is a lunch box to him.
We had a 2 hour meeting at school the other day so April made paper airplanes and threw them at Quinn to keep him entertained!

So, a few of the things that I want to blog about because I know I'll forget..

Quinn will come running up to us randomly and say, "hey mom watch my dance moves"! He's done this ever since VBS because they did motions which he always said were dance moves.

He asks me all the time, "where does out house live, where does Erin's house live"?  So he knows now that our houses live in certain cities but it's so cute how he asks it. Where does the house live?

He has done this for a long time, but instead of saying "music" he says, "museget". Turn on the museget!

I told him a while back in the car that I needed a minute of silence. So I told him not to talk for a minute. He said, " but I can't mom, I just wuv to talk".

IN the car the other day he said, "I don't like Jesus and God, I don't want to be with them". I asked him why he didn't like them and he said,  "well, I do wuv Jesus and God but I just want to stay with my mommy".
He and Hank both are struggling with learning about going to heaven one day. They get confused and Hank will ask Zac if he will still be here in the morning and we have to explain again that you don't go to heaven until you die. It's hard for them and I'm sure a little scary too.

Since VBS in June (it's now September) Quinn has prayed every single night this prayer, "dear Jesus thank you for mom and dad and Cooper and Hank and Quinn and help me to feel better and have a great day at bacation bible school. Thank you for all these things Jesus amen." It is just so precious but some nights Hank just face palms and says, "oh brother".

He loves the Y most of the time. He has so many friends. There is even a little boy that will not go in or will cry unless he sees that Quinn is already in there. He has his best friends Jackson, Thomas, Matthew, Niko and Claire. He tells me, " they are my friends, I just wuv them". So sweet.

3 cases of strep throat

This weekend we took Zac to the airport right before heading to Finn and Sams football game and then Finns birthday party. Zac went to Texas for work for a few days. Finns birthday was a lot of fun. It was a hot day and all the boys played outside in the little creek. They all ended up in their underwear. That afternoon mom came home with us. We got the boys cleaned up and went to eat at Maggiano's for dinner. I had a baby shower to attend Sunday, so mom spent the night and kept the boys for me. Sunday morning Hank woke up and said he had strep throat. We went to church and then took him straight to the Dr afterwards. I texted Zac to let him know we were at the Dr and he said to check Cooper too. Turns out Cooper also had strep. Monday afternoon Quinn told me his mouth hurt. As soon as the boys got in from school I took Quinn to the Dr. His strep test was also positive. We grabbed supper in the car, got antibiotics and booked it to the airport to pick Zac up. So we have three boys with strep and 5 bottles of amoxicillin in our fridge. Wild weekend for sure.

Quinn fell asleep on the stairs. He was so precious curled up there.

Quinn got new light up star wars crocs and a new carseat!

He had fun at my oral surgery appt playing with the chair.

Hank joined cub scouts and has been working through his book.
Wednesday we had the "sweaty" shower. We all came straight from the YMCA and had lunch and a shower for Kelly. We had the fancy one on Sunday which was also really nice.

April sent me photos of Coop during indoor recess. He was having so much fun.

Quinn's petit four gave him a Hitler stache
Thursday I was asked to attend the rehearsal of the Sleeping Beauty ballet and do a blog post for the music city moms blog. Quinn and I went and stayed for a bit. I'll post the blog later.

Quinn is always so proud to show us what he draws at church. This picture was of me and Zac.
Hank always leaves me little notes laying around. They are so sweet.

Hank said, "sam what is that in your mouth"? And Sam said, "that's my mouth guard. I have to wear it or all of my teeth will fall out"! Hahah.

I called Erin today and we must have spread the love because Sam now has strep too.

Since Hank was sick he greeted with me Sunday and sat outside building this little cabin and fire.

All of them at the Dr. None of them had fevers, so other than Hank telling me he had strep, I was surprised when the tests came back positive.
