New words

Quinn is almost 14 months and he has a few words. Today we added pizza to the list! He says, mama, ball, no, cookie, pizza, yum, uh oh, pee pee, bye bye, go and thank you. Last night around 9:45, Zac and I were laying in bed watching tv and eating. We looked over to see our door knob turning, and in walked Hank. He climbed in bed, laid down, searched for covers to cover up with and was out. He forgot his blanket and wouldn't respond to us. We were laughing because this looked very much like sleep walking. Then a minute or two later he opened his eyes and looked so confused. So funny. Our air is out yet again and it's like 82 degrees in this house.
Zac took my grit class with me yesterday at the ymca. This is a before and after pic. He was so sick!!! He did great though!
Here is my little sleep walker

While we were at the beach, Quinn took a little trip to Sparta to see granny. I just got the pictures and they are so sweet.
Have a French fry granny!!

Hank and I had our first salvation talk
while driving to Murfreesboro Friday. He asked me how to get to heaven. So I told him and he seemed to understand the very basics. Then he said, " mom lets take our own food to heaven, Jesus doesn't have very good food there". Well for some dumb reason I felt the need to tell him we can't take things with us to heaven which led to a million "why mom" questions, which led to the confusing conversation of the spirit leaving the body but the body going in the ground.  I explained it to him but also explained that  he won't understand any of this until he is older. That seemed to work, he didn't press it any further.
Friday I ate lunch with Kristin and then had a hair appointment. That evening Zac and I went out to eat at pucketts. I had piggy Mac ( bbq topped with baked mac and cheese). I also had pucketts peach tea ( my first glass of moonshine!) moonshine was not what I expected. I tasted nothing but peach tea.

The past 3 days

Today was rainy and cooper and Quinn both woke up with awful diahreah..... Great start so far huh?! We skipped the gym and have stayed in this playroom all day. Yesterday I took them all to hoppity hop and they played for about 3 or 4 hours!! Cooper of course had bad poop and I had to haul all 3 to the bathroom. It was on his shorts so I had to take his shorts off and wash them in the sink. All the while they are all crawling around on the nasty bathroom floor and Quinn is pulling up on those nasty public toilet seats. It was awful and there was nothing I could do about it. After that they all went back out to play some more. We went to home goods afterward to look for some end tables or something to go next to the bed. Zac and I got nannys king sized bed! I had it repainted and have hung some old windows over it and now need some tables. We have deathwatch beetles inside the middle window. We could hear them clicking away all night. So we took that window down and it is sitting in the garage until I figure out what to do to kill those wood eating suckers.  I don't remember much about Monday. Quinn had me up all night last night and cooper will not sleep in his room anymore. We may be rearranging rooms again soon. Ahhhh special needs is sometimes so specially difficult.

He wanted to be out there with them so bad.

Some little girls took an interest in Quinn and took him down one of the large inflatable slides. I went to get him as they were helping him climb the steps, and they yelled ," no, he wants to go down the slide". I was stunned I guess at these small girls yelling at me and just let him go. He loved it though.

Last night Hank insisted on calling pop to ask him a question. We get Brenton on the phone and I hear Hank say," um are narwhals and dinosaurs will be in heaven"?? I just about died, as I had no clue what he was about to ask. So funny. He also had several people laughing ats we walked out of the y the other day. He got his daily bible verse and as I always do, asked what it said. This time he answered in his typical yelling fashion, "Jesus helps me poop in the potty". Hahah. A lady looked at him and said, " yes, he surely will if you just ask Him".  Now that school is out we drive to the y from home (the way Zac would go). As I turned left at the red light, hank said, " I'm glad that you are finally turning the right way to go to the y".

Friday

We had a fun but very busy day yesterday. Our neighborhood pool was closed due to a pipe that needed replaced, so I took the boys to the Maryland farms ymca. They have an awesome outdoor pool. We stayed there for several hours. After the pool we came home for naps and then ate dinner and headed straight to the zoo for members night. The kids played on bouncy houses, rode the carousel, played with these big turtles and checked out a tarantula. Zac and I were so soaked with sweat by the time we got back in the car that the air conditioner was freezing us. We drove through McDonald's and got s snack and got the boys in bed by about 9:00. Such a fun night!!
Look at Quinn perfecting the selfie!! What a smile!

These turtles were so much fun. Cooper of course had his fluorescent shoes on and the turtles followed him. They would get to his shoes and nibble his toe.

The carousel was a lot of fun. Hank was so excited to ride it. It was like he was in Disney world again!! However when we all got seated on our animal, he panicked. He started crying, but once it started going he got a lot better and was laughing and excited again. Quinn loved it. He bounced and laughed, and said "weeeee" and " goooo". Go is his favorite thing to say right now.

Look how precious!!!!!

Cooper didn't really care either way, he just wanted his bib.

Good morning hulk hogan.... You silky haired baby.
We have been renting these DVDs from the church library. The boys are obsessed with these. They can sing the songs and even have a lot of the words memorized.
