Easter Morning

This morning we got the boys up and all got ready for church. I didn't have praise team today, so we got to sleep in a little later!! Still, I couldn't get out of bed and we were rushed. Right before leaving, the boys came downstairs to see their Easter presents. They were very excited!! Cooper took his bunny and Hank took his bus with them to church but we left them in the car. They got there very own mini basketballs, they love playing basketball in the church gym, so I got some for them.

 Hank went straight for the ball....

 Dad refinished this little table for the boys and Gina dropped it off the other day on her way to Vanderbilt. I looked for little chairs for it at the store but didn't find any. It's a great height for their things to sit on.

 Hank got the double decker bus from cars. They both got books and nerf egg throwers.

 Cooper got a  bunny that says happy Easter and jumps.

 He wouldn't let go of either toy...too much excitement

Easter Weekend

Yesterday the boys and I went to Chick fil a to meet up with Jax and his mom for a little play date. It was so crowded, but they had such a good time playing in the playground. I of course had a great time eating! This morning we had planned on going to the DS egg hunt that we do every year. However I saw this morning that they had moved it indoors to the DSAMT office. So I decided we would skip that one and go to the one at our church since it was still being held outdoors. Hank was terrified of the pinata, but once we got outside and started the egg hunt, he was good to go.

 Cooper started asking for his Labamba dog, so we called Granna on face time. She played it for him and we got to see Nanny too!!

 On the way to church this afternoon....

 Caroline wanted to see the penguins on Hanks shirt but he was being a butt-munch and wouldn't let her.

 As soon as we hit the playground, I saw a bouncy ball on the ground. Yep, the Easter eggs had bouncy balls in them. I went into panic mode and started searching and taking away all of my kids bouncy balls. We had 6 of them. For those wondering why....Cooper swallowed a bouncy ball last year and had a code called on him at Vanderbilt, it was in his throat for 21 minutes. We gave ours to the older kids.

 Hank saw the swings and decided he was done.

 He also wanted to drive the car but not without his bucket...

After the egg hunt we sat outside on the grass and ate some food. They were grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Hank discovered Doritos and ate a bag of those. It was fun. I'm glad the weather held off for us.
