Tuesday night

Yesterday mom got to my house around noon to take me to my Dr Appt. We first made a stop at Wendys to eat some lunch and then we went to pick up Cooper from school. Mom walked up to the door to get him and he got a huge grin and signed "bear" (she has a bear that plays music that he has loved for years). After that we went for my ultrasound. The boys were pretty well behaved, and they got to see the baby in my tummy and hear its heartbeat (which Hank said was scary). The babies HR was 160, the neck looked to be good, but the Dr will call me sometime next week and let us know for sure that everything was fine. The receptionist that checked us in stuck a heart on Cooper's forehead and he never knew it was there until about an hour later when Hank ripped it off his face. After that we loaded up in moms car and headed to Manchester. Zac stayed in Nashville to work and will come up later tonight. Greg went and got us Sonic for dinner last night and we all sat in the bonus room to eat while Cooper played. At bedtime we decided to put Cooper and Hank both on the air mattress. They have never slept together so we were not sure how that would go. Mom read them some books and as soon as we walked out and closed the door, they were asleep. Great news for me, considering they are going to be sharing a room very soon. This morning I got to sleep until about 8, then took at a nap, then mom went and got J&G for me for lunch. I love being home!! I get spoiled much more at mom's.

Putting up the tree

Last night we finished decorating the tree. The boys helped us put the ornaments on, and they really enjoyed doing this. Cooper's favorite ornament was the little dog that barks "jingle bells". He pushed it over and over until he finally put it on the tree. They only broke one ornament, which I think I can super glue.

After we did the big tree, we let them decorate the little tree in the playroom.

Liam's Party

After Zac got home from work this afternoon, I took Cooper to Gigi's playhouse for Liam's 5th Birthday. It was so much fun, Cooper could run free without getting out of the room and just play with tons of toys. I got some much needed Suzy/Tiffany/Erin time and got to hang out while our kids played. Cooper found a drum set that he loved. It actually made a good drum sound, unlike those little plastic annoying drums. Hank stayed home with Zac but I promised him a cupcake. He opened the door to the garage as soon as I drove in and asked for his cake! We got our new tree up this weekend, so this morning I started decorating it. I just spent the morning hanging ornaments and watching Game of Thrones reruns. It was nice.

Liam.....still cannot believe how big/old our kids are getting.
 Etta
Erin had this little photo wall and props set up and she took pictures for us with a Polaroid camera. It was the cutest idea and I was happy Cooper even cooperated. He liked the props.

This was a crazy neat trampoline

Such a fun birthday party, and so good to see our friends.

Thanksgiving lunch at Gower

This morning was Cooper's Thanksgiving lunch at school. Hank and I got to school and were able to walk to the cafeteria with Cooper's class. He was so excited!! We went through the line and got our plates and then ate in the gym where they had tables set up for the families. We ate with his friend Cain and Star, and their parents. It was fun, but very fast, I barely got a few bites in between helping Cooper and Hank before it was time to go! There was a massive blow up turkey in the cafeteria that Cooper could not stop talking about.

Halloween

Ok, I finally uploaded the pictures from Halloween. I hate that I am putting it up this late, but oh well. We went out in our neighborhood Halloween night. Our neighborhood does Halloween really well. People sit out on their lawns with fire pits, music, lights, decorations. It is really fun. Hank insisted on pulling the wagon, so he dragged that thing around. At one house their was this super creepy doll. It was one of those white faced, long black wet haired creepy dolls, that if you get near it, it starts saying something in its creepy little girl voice and then it lunges at you. It was on a spring, and literally you could hear children screaming with so much fear and then crying because that thing was so scary. Guess who loved it.....Cooper. He would not leave that doll. He would walk up to it (not too close) and wave his leg in front of it to make it go off. They tried to give it to us and I said a hearty heck no.....that thing was scary.

They did so good going door to door and saying trick or treat!! Hank actually went into a few houses and I had to run in and grab him.

Here is that creepy demon doll......

When Cooper got tired of walking, Hank pulled him in the wagon.

It turned out blurry, but that was how bright and lit up our neighborhood was.
