Well, I managed to get out of bed for church this morning. I still feel like I could pass out and then sleep for 2 more days though. I got some more pictures of the boys making pizza and cookies. Looks like they had fun! Tomorrow is back to school for Coop, it has been a fun but long 2 weeks.

30 weeks and sick

Well, I couldn't escape it. Last night with 5 minutes left in the movie, I got nauseous. Luckily we made it home before the hours of vomit began. I think I stopped throwing up around 4am this morning. There is nothing more uncomfortable than having a stomach bug while pregnant. I took Zofran and Phenergan. They didn't stop the throw up but I was able to drink water, sprite and Gatorade the entire night to hopefully not dehydrate Quinn and I. Cooper and Hank stayed home with Granna and Pop and made pizzas and cookies. And for my review of the movie....lets just say it was weird. Downright weird. I would redbox it instead of theater it.

A Great Day to end Spring Break

This morning we went to the library with Liz, Carter and Connor. We went to see the marionette puppet show Sky Bear. It was a native American story. Hank sat there and watched in awe the entire time. At one point he hid behind me, because a big bear came out. But I was shocked at how much he loved it. He and Cooper were both very good. After that we went to have lunch at Demos'. The kids all did well there too. Then we continued our little fun day with a trip to see the bunnies at Phillips Toy Mart. They liked the bunnies for about 5 minutes until they found all the puppets. It was game over from then on out. I couldn't keep both boys together, so I basically let us all wonder in different directions, prayed they didn't get out and hoped for the best. They had a blast playing with all the toys and watching the train. After this we made our final stop at Target to exchange Zac's razor. By this time Hank was tired. After walking around for a while I went up to do my exchange at the counter and the razor I brought from home (the broken one) was gone. I had to walk back through every part of the store to see what the boys had done with it. I could not find it. I finally went to the razor aisle for the 3rd time and started moving boxes. Found it....the razor was hidden behind all the other boxes of razors. Nice job Hank. Now it is 3:30 and we are home with both boys in bed for naps!! Zac and I are going to see the movie Noah tonight. I have wanted to see it since the very first preview. Well apparently the Christian community has given it awful reviews and are posting things in social media left and right and saying how they will not dare watch this movie that an atheist directed and took God out of. I never questioned whether or not I would go see it. I still think it will be a great movie. What I am bummed about though is how Christians are acting. Once again what makes Christians appear in the news and media?? Their complaints and anger and boycott. What if they actually interviewed a Christian after watching the movie and the person said, hey I thought the director did an excellent job. I would have liked to see more biblical truth in it, but all together Noah is a true story and seeing the movie might make people read a little of the Bible to fill in those missing parts. I think that would make more of a statement than us saying we refuse to see it because the guy is an atheist and took God out of it. We are always painted in such a bad light, but a lot of the time we bring it on ourselves. But I will see what I think after truly seeing it tonight.


Waiting for the puppets!!

 Coop got a therapy session just climbing up and down the library stairs. Hank stood at the bottom of the stair case and said here Coopie, just a few more steps. Precious boys, I'm ready for my third boy to get here.

 You can pet the bunnies but it says do not hold the bunnies, but the boys couldn't reach far enough to pet them, so I reached in and grabbed one anyway.

Pictures from Papa and Nana's Weekend

I was so glad the boys got to get away last weekend and have a fun time. I have been lazy, boring, low energy, etc, so it was nice for them to get all that attention. The past few days here have been a little crazy. Zac came down with a virus Tuesday night. The boys knew he was in the bedroom, so it was a little hard keeping them out. Plus we are trying not to catch it. So far we are ok. I had a weird feeling of nausea this morning, so I immediately took 2 Zofran left over from my morning sickness. My Dr also refilled my Phenergan just in case. The last thing we want is a virus at 30 weeks pregnant. Other than being tired and having a headache I am pretty good. The boys and I read lots of books this morning and worked on pottying. Hank is so funny, he will not tell me when he goes to the bathroom, but if he poops, he will take his underwear/pullup to the bathroom, dump the poop in the potty and put on clean undies. No progress on actually sitting to poop on the potty though. As we read books this morning, Cooper said the word 'lamb". If I point to my mouth to make him focus, he will actually say words pretty well. With that said, having a non verbal child for 5 years and now having a typical child that does talk.....well, it is a whole new world. Hank is hilarious in what he says. It's funny because we are just now experiencing this as though it is our first child. We were reading a book about Easter and how we hunt Easter Eggs, and out of the blue, Hank pulls my tank top away from my chest and says, "those are mama's easter eggs".  I managed to hold back my laughter as best I could and immediately texted Zac. Oh well, I guess it's good he doesn't actually know what boobs are yet! Hank also wanted to rock all morning. He told me his leg hurt and his throat hurt and he just wanted to rock.

Sweet things Hank says

The other day the boys were in the stroller with each other and I look down to see Hank rubbing Cooper's back. Hank sees me looking at him and looks up at me and says, "I just wuv (love) Cooper, just wuv him".  Today at some point, Cooper was frustrated and let out one of his grunts. Hank went over to him and said" here Cooper I help you, there you go Coopie".  Tonight  we made a tent (the kind that Erin and I use to make all the time as kids) , watched Monster's University, and baked cookies. It lasted about 20 minutes before the boys destroyed the tent and went over to the tv and turned it off. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Busy Weekend

Friday night mom picked up the boys and took them home with her for the weekend. The Cox's came up to take us to dinner for my birthday. We ate at the pharmacy, which has the best burgers!! It was so good. After that Brenton Cyndi and Nanny took us shopping at Opry Mills. They got clothes for the boys and new clothes for Zac. Saturday morning we met Dad, Gina, Erin and her boys at Loveless Café for breakfast. After that I went to Home Depot and got Behr paint to do my bedroom. It took Zac and I two hours to paint and put the room back together. After that we showered and went to church to meet with our new Youth Minister. Zac and I went to Nachos and had dinner after that and then headed home to finally relax!

Here is the before picture of our bedroom. I haven't made many changes to the house since we moved in 3 years ago. So little by little I am starting to think about things I want to do. I hated the brown and Zac hated that accent wall. However now the bathroom is still the color of that accent wall, which does not flow well with the new color. I'm in no rush to do that yet though.

 I had Home Depot match the color Software by Sherwin Williams and mix it using Behr paint. I don't use anything but Behr paint because it only requires one coat. It turned out having a blue hue to it which I was worried about, but once I got the new bedding and curtains up, I liked it better. Best part was I got to clean the entire room while all the furniture was moved. It is so clean and nice looking now. I am happy with our results. Thanks to Nanny for all this new stuff, I got it with what she gave me for my birthday. My new comforter is a duvet. I have never used one before, but it was so comfortable sleeping with last night. I love it.

  I have 10 weeks left!! It got real once we realized it was only 10 weeks and most likely less. I'm thrilled that I'm almost done, but also sad that it is all over. Quinn is a painful little baby. His little movements are so painful, it feels like he is bruising me when he moves.

Celebrated till we dropped!!!

The boys have had a great time from last night to today celebrating world down syndrome day. Last night Zac took them swimming for a long time, and today we played all morning at Gigi's playhouse, then played even more at the chick fil a playground!! I think it is safe to say they have had fun.....and they are exhausted. I posted a while back that I could not say to Hank that we were running errands, because he thought that meant we were going to see Erin. I have encountered that again in the past 2 weeks. I took the boys to Sam's the other day to get breakfast food for the YEC weekend with the youth. Hank had an absolute melt down when he realized he was not going to see his cousin Sam. I tried and tried to explain but it didn't help. Then today we had another melt down. We went to Gigi's playhouse. Well Hank got there and wanted to know where Gigi was. I said she was at work but we are at the playhouse. There was a pretty big crowd at Gigi's playhouse today too!! We had fun seeing our friends and playing. Once we were done we were going to swing into the drive through and get chick fil a, but Cooper and Hank both really wanted to go in and play. So went in and they had even more fun. The play place at the one in Cool Springs is much nicer than the one in Bellevue, so it was hard getting them out of there. By the time we got back in the car they were both asleep.
