Wacky Wednesday

This is Read Week at Cooper's school. They have had different dress up days, and today was wacky day. We have no wacky clothes whatsoever, but I at least put Cooper in something other than standard school attire. Yesterday was dress as your favorite book character day. We walked in and Cooper's teacher was dressed as pooh bear. Coopers mouth dropped wide open. He smiled and kept pointing at her and saying Pooh. She pulled the head piece off to show him that it was her and he just busted out laughing. It was so cute.

Friday/Sat

Last night after dinner we got the boys bathed and fed and then went to church at 7. We have a new pastor and Friday night was for the deacons and their families to meet him and his family. The boys had so much fun running through the halls. There were a lot of kids there so we were pretty much able to just let them watch our kids. Once it was time to leave though, little Hankie poo was gone. We asked every kid at church where Hank was and each one would point in some different direction and say he went that way or he is with so and so. Well, I followed the noise....I eventually found Hank downstairs in the choir room playing on the metal twirly staircase that leads us up to the choir loft. Uggg, a small panic moment. He was with the other kids though at least. We got them in bed and sat down and started season 2 of Game of Thrones!!! We love having a netflix tv series to watch. It make every night date night and it is so fun. This morning I got up and went for a run. It was still pretty cold. I ran almost 5 miles, but it was a bad run. I'm ready for warmer weather. After the boys wake up, we are going to Sam's for our "white trash date". We let the boys run wild and eat pizza and pretzels. It's really fun.

 I had to take little wolverine here to get a haircut yesterday. He was a hot mess.

Randomness

First I have a picture of the boys playing at the Dr office the day Cooper got his first staple out. They were wild!!!

Next I have pictures of their father cross dressing. Oddly enough this is not the first time he has dressed like a woman...

It was all in good fun though. Our youth played the dating game last night at church. The two guys on the other side of the wall that were asking the questions figured out it was Zac but were shocked when he came around the corner in a dress.

Just another week

This past week has been fairly boring. We haven't done a lot. Friday night Zac and I went to Maggianos for dinner while Brenton and Cyndi watched the boys. After that we went lap top shopping and then came home pretty early. We were both so tired. Saturday night I went to dinner and did some shopping with Katie, a friend of mine from high school and college. She recently moved back here from Texas and we had some catch up time together. Cooper was out of school Monday for the holiday, and then I discovered Tuesday that he gets 2 weeks for spring break and not just one. Yesterday I was changing Hanks dirty diaper and as I was wiping him, he slams his foot down into the dirty diaper. Uggg, I wiped off his foot and took him straight to the bathtub. As I was getting him dried off I turned around to see that Cooper had gotten into the tub with all his clothes on!! He looked confused but was still having fun in the water. So I went ahead and bathed him too.

 Hank was sneaking corn casserole.

 Sunday morning getting ready for church....yep Hank dumps the cookies on the floor. It is a miracle every Sunday that we make it out the door on time.

 His pants were wet and heavy and he was trying to kick them off.

Fire Chiefs

Last night Greg and Mom came up to give the boys their little Valentines gift. They also took us to Firehouse subs for dinner. We had the place to ourselves and the boys were pretty well behaved. Loud...but pretty good. After dinner the boys put their fire hats on and ran wild outside. Hank threw his on the ground and broke it, but Cooper loved wearing his. We came home and Hank got a book and some fun little blow up things that you stomp on and then they inflate. They also got a helicopter. Papa's piloting skills were not so sharp a few weeks ago and our Christmas helicopter went down in flames. Although they were not, they felt responsible for replacing Airforce Coop and Hank. But the boys were thrilled. Zac flew it around in the foyer and they were so excited. It was a fun night. The boys had a blast.

Valentine's Day

I'm not even cringing or rolling my eyes as I write this post. I am getting much better at observing Valentine's Day. Yes, I hate the holiday and think that a day for love is the most cheesy thing ever. However...I have children now and want them to turn out different than me and actually have some affection for other people. I stayed up last night and finished stuffing m&ms into little candy tubes for Cooper's class party today. I sat out balloons that I had gotten for the boys and their cards that granna and pop had sent in the mail. I put those at their high chairs at the table and had a little gift for Zac. He needed a new electric razor pretty bad, so I figured I would go ahead and wrap it up as a gift.  This morning the boys came down for breakfast and went crazy over the balloons, they would hardly even eat their breakfast.  Zac of course was long gone and sent me a text that he had opened his gift early this morning. I almost forgot to mention that I woke up to a pillow fort built up around my head and a woman's voice talking on my cell phone. Cooper had piled pillows on my head and somehow called Ali's cellphone, it must have been her voice mail greeting that I was hearing. Anyways, we left the house a little early so that we could drive by Emma's house (Cooper's little friend from preschool last year) and give her a little Valentine Happy. I tried to get Cooper to walk up and knock on the door but he made me carry him. It was cute though, Emma's little face lit up when she saw Cooper. He handed her a card and the candy that we made and then he tried to go inside and play. Too funny. I ran in and grabbed him and put him back in the car. At noon I met Zac and we signed some papers to refinance our house. Immediately after that I headed to Cooper's school for his Valentines party. Hank was very well behaved. He just wanted cookies in his mouth at all times. He even walked over to me at one point and handed me the entire package of cookies. I love watching Cooper in his classroom, he is so obedient. His teacher can just give him a look and he does what she wants. All the kids were watching Charlie Brown Valentines.  We came home and Cooper took everything out of his goody bag and showed me all the valentines he had gotten.
